Israel has deployed a heavy police presence in Jerusalem ahead of a march by
flag-waving Jewish nationalists through the main Palestinian thoroughfare in the Old City.
The march, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, is seen as a provocation by Palestinians
The police presence includes hundreds of officers, as well as armored vehicles and checkpoints.
The march is being organized by the Israeli right-wing group Im Tirtzu.
The group says that the march is intended to celebrate Israel's capture of east Jerusalem in the 1967 Six-Day War.
