
Sitaare Zameen Par ( is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language sports comedy drama film directed by R. S. Prasanna, and produced by Amir Khan and Aparna Purohit. A spiritual successor to Khan’s 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, it is based on the Spanish film champions(2018) and stars Khan and Genelia Deshmukh.
After the flop of the film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ in the year 2022, Aamir Khan was away from films for some time. But then he announced that he is bringing the sequel of his hit film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ titled ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. Many updates have been coming on his film for a long time. The film was announced in October 2023. Principal photography took place in India over four months before completing in June 2024.

The Trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par
Starring Aamir Khan, dropped on Tuesday, and fans couldn’t be happier. The much-anticipated glimpse introduces us to Gulshan, a once-respected basketball coach who’s now dealing with the consequences of his reckless and arrogant behavior. After an ugly encounter with the police and a court case, he’s ordered to coach a basketball team made up of individuals who are specially abled. His rude, politically incorrect attitude lands him Rs.5000 fine, setting the stage for a story about transformation and second chances.
In the three-minute trailer, Aamir Khan takes on the role of Gulshan, a bold and politically incorrect basketball coach who, after hitting rock bottom—including a brush with the law—is sentenced to coach a team of specially-abled kids. The tagline “Sabka Apna Apna Normal” beautifully captures the film’s core message of empathy and understanding. Genelia Deshmukh, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala also star in the film, and Genelia seems to be playing Aamir’s love interest here.
